Why shouldn't shorter women be given contracts? Many of us look just as good, if not better. And we don't even have to grow long hair so as not to be confused with men!

Fashion journalists may make it seem as though tall women were all beautiful and well proportioned, but that is FAR from the truth. If you look carefully, many of them are hardly what you would call proportionately longer-legged. Seriously, a woman who is 5'9" with a 33" inseam is NO LONGER-LEGGED than a woman who is 5'5" with 31" inseam or 5'3" with a 30". These are all extremely STANDARD.

And btw, I do see just as many short or average women with proportionately long legs as tall women. It may not be as obvious, but they do exist.

One thing I want to say to all my fellow shorties. Do you ever pay attention to the asinine advice that short women should wear this and avoid that? WELL, DON'T! It's advice only made to make us feel bad about themselves. I'm 5'5" and I wear all the things that are supposed to be worn only by tall women--coats w/ horizontal stripes, embellished jeans, large belts. I've had pictures taken of me and quite frankly, those clothes looked as good on me as they do on any model. So, WEAR WHAT YOU WANT--and wear it w/ confidence!
