Rave is a store that sells (very cheap) clothing in juniors sizes. They do not carry a "petite" line, per se, but their clothes are tailored to fit young teens; since many short girls are also quite thin--a fact that is apparently completely overlooked by many manufacturers of "petite" clothing--I recommend checking them out. Their clothing is small all over, not just "shortened" (bigger girls will not have much luck there). Most of their clothing is casual, and all of it is trendy, but--if a gal can overlook the (horrid) pop music blaring from the store's speakers--one can sometimes find office-casual/work-appropriate clothing there, such as button-down shirts, sweaters, and slacks.
Word of advice: examine clothes before you buy from Rave. Their clothes are cheap, so make sure that, for example seams and buttons are sewn on securely, patterns match up at the seams, etc. And, naturally, when you score a blouse for a whopping $10, please don't expect it to last for an awfully long time--it likely will not! All in all, Rave is a fun place to shop for young, thin, and frugal petites.
